I have trouble with the idea of generalizing a gender based on experiences with four women. Also, truth can be slow to realization. The woman in her twenties may have different experiences of knowing her truth once in her forties, perhaps through an expensive therapist. But I love the awareness, the willingness to listen and compassion to try and understand. Telling a woman's experience back to them is, perhaps... mansplaining. Maybe it's not so much a 'why' or 'theorizing' as it is a 'what', a recall of your own experience. Open to being further informed and less conclusive about the dance of truth.
