Great perspective. I’m 45, finishing a long awaited phd. I’ve always hustled and similarly been uncommitted to various “jobs.” I want to teach full time in a university that has me considering international options, even during the pandemic. This feels “crazy" in a way, but also deeply rooted in who I am and what I want to do. I don’t want a pandemic to stall my dream till I’m 46, 47 … I don’t want to settle. I’d love to feel like I’ve lived and pursued my dreams if I’m lucky enough to barrel through my own 50th birthday.
